When I presented my prezi with Rita and Hannah, it was a totally new experience for me. I had never used the prezi website before, and when I was up there before it began I couldn't help but laugh to myself at the fun I had learning all of the different ways prezis worked. When professor gave us the cue to start, I felt nervous. After all, we were the first ones to go.
As the prezi went through, I found myself becoming more and more comfortable with what I was talking about. I knew I was prepared, and the questions being asked by my peers and Professor Lay definitely helped. It became not a lecture, but instead and interactive experience with the whole class.
I feel like I got a lot accomplished with our prezi. Firstly, we were able to inform the whole class on hyperlinks, and just about everything they could possibly think of about them. But not only that, we were also able to answer questions that they had about the subject and, by doing so, we found that we learned more ourselves. Having Professor Lay there to help us once in a while also didn't hurt. But either way, we got the subject of hyperlinks across to our listeners, and we were able to speak informatively and interestingly on the matter with the help and assistance of the prezi.
If I could go back and do it again I would definitely get some more outside research. There were a few questions that were asked that I could vaguely answer, and I wish I was able to answer them more fully and in depth. Along with that, there were a few typos in my prezi that I wish I had gotten out and fixed. I normally am a neat freak when it comes to grammatical errors and spelling errors, but I must not have gone through my prezi as thoroughly as I should have.
All in all I really enjoyed the process and presentation though. It was interesting getting to play teacher for once, and it was a subject that I wanted to learn more about and subsequently pass on to others.
